Sorry I am a horrible blogger at the moment!

Keeping ya'll up to date,

June was an awesome month! Mitch's birthday was on the 1st! He had to work, but we celebrated when he got home later that night! We got him a bike! I am a pageant mom! ha ha! I entered Jacob into a baby contest again (for the 2nd year). He first was in the Orem Summerfest contest and didn't win anything (the Orem baby winners were related to those who are on the committee, RIGGED) Then it was the 4th of July baby contest which was held on the 18th of June. He won 2nd place in both age and costume. I was told after that in a meeting with the freedom festival board members, they were shown pictures of the winners and stated that Jacob should have won 1st in his age group, and they apologized... I told them it wasn't a big deal. It's just for fun! That being said, Jacob, Mitch, and I walked in both the children's parade on the 25th of June as well as the 4th of July parade in the Baby Contest group!!!! All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners got to walk in the parade, and I must say our wagon looked better then all the others!!! At the children's parade, he got best children's float!!!! YA!!! This is a picture of him and his daddy walking down the route!
He was smiling, waving, and blowing kisses to everyone!!! SUPER ADORABLE! Jacob then got his picture taken by the daily harold! He was in the paper on June 26th! The Sunday edition! and his picture was the biggest of the 3 the paper published!

On Wednesday June 29th, I got LASIK!!! I got it for 4 reasons
1. So I can see without glasses
2. To help with my dyslexia
3. To help my eyes stop shaking.
4. To get rid of my migraines.

Some people say that lasik doesn't help with dyslexia, but it does! Before my procedure, I saw words, letters, and numbers backwards and upside down, with my glasses on, it included the reflection. This has gone on so long it's weird to actually see semi-normal. It was hard for me to study, but now that I only see letters and numbers backward, I can cope! More to come!

My entire life, I have always wanted a wedding video. For the past 2 years, I have been doing this video so that it was perfect. This is the final Project. It is pretty long, but every moment was captured. I absolutely love it! Jacob is about to walk, he can, he just doesn't ever want to. Crawling is so much better. Mitch is in school, he loves it, ha ha ha . I will start in February at WGU (strictly online). This way, I can be home, and go to work and still get homework stuff done! My dad's studio is about to open. We have been using the cricut to print out logos and all that jazz. So we live in my parents basement, after 1.5 years, we have unpacked everything. It was so hard to pack up and move (from our other home) in less than a day. I like to pack things organized, that move was totally not. We finally have it done. I can't wait for this weekend, we are going to Las Vegas. VACATION!!!! It's only for 4 days, but hey I'll take what we can get! Jacob's first dentist appointment is tomorrow! Hope he does good! ha ha I don't really care if he screams. :) Til next time!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This Halloween we decided to do a Fire THEME!!! Jacob and Mitch we firemen.... and well, I was Little Red FIRE hood!!! ha ha ha. We don't have much money so I had to find something cheap! Well we went trick-or-treating at the University Mall. It was a blast... Jacob loved the candy. The past couple of months have been sad and crazy for us. We just found out that Mitch didn't get into the Paramedic Program at UVU... SAD SAD day. It was so hard to open that letter and see the disappointment on his face. I felt (well for the past couple of weeks that he isn't suppose to go to UVU for this program anyways. He will apply to a few other colleges around the western states for next spring. It will be nice once he can get into a program. I got a job then quit after just one month. There is a certain amount of "F" bombs I can stand in one conversation. I just hate when people yell at me as well. Anyways.. It will be nice to finally relax a bit. Mitch is working at Lakeridge Jr. High. It's not a lot but it's something! Well My father is opening up a MULTIMEDIA STUDIO IN OREM!!!! YAY I am so excited. I will be managing the office so I guess that is a job! :) I will try to post more often.... To wrap up, Mitch and I are still in school at UVU. Jacob is almost walking and it's so crazy. That's all for now. :)

CRAZYNESS

Life has been crazy. Mitch is in the process of getting a job as a firefighter. It's hard because it's such a long process. I can't wait til he gets a job. I will be starting school again in May. I can't wait. I will continue my major as Dance education. I will start taking those classes in the fall and focus on my generals. We are so excited that Jacob is here after 18 long hours of labor and a C-section. He is a blessing to Mitchel and I. He is so well behaved. I can already tell that he is a daddy's boy. Everytime Mitch is at an intership between 12 and 48 hours he can tell. He just loves his daddy. On March 24th I had some right side pain. When I recently went to the ER on the 4th of March the Dr said that it was just cist exploding in my overies and made it swell. I didn't think anything of it on the 24th. I thought it was the same thing. The next morning I woke up. Mitch was at school I had the baby in the crib and the pain was terrible. I could barely pick Jacob up. When I struggled to walk upstairs, I knew something was wrong. I told my dad that I needed to go to the doctor. When Mitch got home, He took me to the Instacare where they told us to just go down to the ER to save money since we'd need a CT scan. We got to the ER and we walked right in. I had the same nurses as I did earlier in March. They could tell something was very wrong. Within 5 min after returing from the CT scan, they came back with the result. It was my appendix. They said I needed to be transported to Utah Valley to have it taken out. Mitch was able to transport me since he is an EMT. We walked into their ER and within 10 min I was in emergency surgery to get my appendix out. After I woke up I was in extreme pain. Air bubbles in my shoulders and throughout my body. It was horrible. The PA came into my room and explained that my appendix did burst at the tip and the whole thing would have burst if we came in any later. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days. After I was discharged I was in so much pain for about 5 days. I went to my one week appointment and they asked if i'd been taking my antibiotic. I told them I was never given one. I was in so much pain the told me to get another CT scan after they wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic. the CT scan came up with lots of fluid still down there. They said the antibiotic would clear it up. I am now not in pain. It is such a great mood because of it. That has pretty much been the first part of our year. Lets just say my stomach has been through alot.
